Character is easier kept then recovered. We cannot control the things life does to us. They are done before you know it, and once they are done, they make you do other things..... until at least everything comes between you and the man you wanted to be.

But no....., we all have choices in life, and sometimes a man can meet his destiny on a road he took to avoid it. So what if the world will not accept you for who you are, so what if they do not acknowledge your way of the truth? Even when you are right? What are you supposed to do? Are you just supposed to give up? And accept that its the way of the world?

So you chose to believe. Faith after all is better then any plan. Should you then sacrifice your own ideal for the greater good? That is a difficult choice. Sometimes the hardest thing in life is to know which bridge to cross and which to burn.
